With a deep-rooted love for animals and years of experience, I've dedicated myself to providing top-notch care. Over the years I had the joy of caring for dogs in my family, for friends and even friends of family! After moving to the NOVA area from Boston my dog sitting network has grown tremendously. This is one of the reasons why I started Commonwealth Dog Club.

My approach to dog sitting is rooted in understanding and empathy. I take the time to get to know each dog individually, learning their quirks, preferences, and unique personalities. From the energetic pups who thrive on playtime and adventure to the seniors who prefer gentle cuddles and relaxation, I tailor my services to meet the specific needs of every dog under my care.

What are your hours? What is extended care? What are your hours for walks?
Currently booking 2 months in advance. Pick up/Drop off time is between 8am-6:00pm M-F & 10am-8pm Sat & Sun. Anytime outside those hours will be a $10 fee.
Extended care is the additional time per service. Additional time is 50% of the service rate (this applies to all services). Anywhere between 2-8 hours will be considered additional time past scheduled pick up time. 8 hours or more will be 100% of the service rate.
Hours for walk service appointments are between 730 am-3pm & 6pm-8pm.
Why do overnight boarding prices vary? What is constant Care? Whats the environment like?
Prices can vary per night due to holiday rate, puppy rate or additional number of dogs per request. Pooch Sleepovers are for 24 hours from the time of drop off. If you are picking up your dog at a later time than drop off, extended care will be applied. Prices are listed in service description.
Holidays Rates Apply to the following: Martin Luther King Day (Jan 17-20), Presidents' Day (Feb 14-17), Memorial Day (May 23-26), Juneteenth (June 19), 4th of July (July 3-7), Labor Day (Aug 28-Sept 2), Columbus Day (Oct 13), Veteran Day (Nov 11th), Thanksgiving (Nov 28-Dec 1), Christmas and New Year's Day (Dec 21-Jan 1). Overnight boarding during Holiday Dates are $125/Night, Holiday Day Care rate is $60 & Holiday Walk rates are $40/30 min walk
Dogs that require continuous supervision fall under our "Constant Care" service and will incur an additional fee. Our rates for Constant Care are as follows: $150 per night boarding at sitters home, $225 per night house sitting, $75 for 8 hours or less for day care or $25/hour for 5 hours or less.
For pet care in my home or my client's home, I provide a loving and safe environment tailored to each pet's needs. This includes regular feeding according to their dietary requirements, ensuring they have access to fresh water at all times, and adhering to any medication schedules if needed. I also engage pets in playtime and exercise, whether it's walks around the neighborhood, playtime with a 50 foot BTINESFUL leash outside in an open area, fetch, games indoors, or simply spending quality time cuddling and providing companionship. Additionally, I maintain a clean environment by regularly cleaning up after pets and ensuring their living spaces are tidy and comfortable. Dogs are allowed to roam free in our home & allowed on furniture, except for our bed. I accept 1 client at a time (3 dogs max, 85 Lbs max combined), unless discussed otherwise before booking. To stay prepared for boarding my home is equipped with towels, blankets, dog bed, pillows, raincoats, harnesses, leashes, toys & supplies such as wipes, poop bags & food bowls. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, enjoyable experience for any dogs under my care, ensuring they feel happy, loved, and well looked after.
Whats your reservation policy? What forms of payment do you take?
Reservations fill up quick & requests are honored on a first come first served basis. Please send a message or email inquiring about dates needed. I'm currently booking reservations 2 months in advance. To secure your dates in advance, a deposit of 50% is required. The remaining balance is due one week prior to drop-off. Please note that invoices are valid for one week.
For all dog care services we accept payment only prior to when service starts. Payments accepted for dog care services are by Cash, Credit Cards, Venmo or Cash App. For all in person vending events we accept Cash, TAP Credit Cards, Apple pay, Venmo & Cash App. We do not accept Zelle. Credit card payments made online through our website or in person by Apple pay by phone is a secured payment method and follows the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Any service paid via credit/debit card or Venmo with a sales total over $35 will have a processing fee of 2.9% of the total sales. The 2.9% Credit card processing fee can be waived if the payment is made via Cash.

What is your cancellation policy? What is is your late policy?
Please give a 1 week notice for a full refund. If you cancel later than 12:00 pm one week before the booking begins, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first 7 days of the booking. You’ll receive a 100% refund for any days after that.
Please be respectful our time. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I give a 30 minute grace period, however, anything past 30 minutes can result in either rescheduling, late fees of $25 per 30 minutes or potentially being dropped as a client. We understand things happen but this creates a domino effect for future appointments & commitments scheduled through out my day. If you are habitually late, unfortunately, we will not move forward in continuing to sit your pup.

Whats your experience with dogs?
Growing up I had 2 dogs, Daisy who was a shih Tzu and Flink who was a German Shepard. I've taken care of other peoples dogs since having dogs of my own in the family. What dogs do you accept?
For all services I have a maximum weight limit of 80 pounds. If you are interested in dog walks for more than 1 dog, the dogs must weigh under 80 pounds combined (3 dogs max). Dog must be non-aggressive & manageable for any service. For overnight and day boarding the following dog breeds are not permitted-Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Huskies, Dobermans, Chows, Great Danes, Saint Bernards, Akitas, Wolf Hybrids. Any dog behavior that is unwarranted such as excessive dog barking, urinating and defecating inside, destructive behavior, biting or aggression can result in stopping care.
Meet & greets are required before booking any type of service to make sure we are both a good fit. No bookings will be accepted unless a meet & greet appointment is established beforehand. Meet & greet appointments are at no charge and can run between 15-30 minutes max. Dogs must be up to date with their shots & owners are required to show proof before drop off, service will be refused if this requirement is not met. Flea/Tick treatment is also required. Dogs must be dropped off in a clean condition before boarding/day care. Refusal of service can be made if requirements are not met.
